Sony Unveils New LinkBuds Range with Innovative Features

Sony is expanding its LinkBuds range with the introduction of two new wireless earbuds, the LinkBuds Fit and LinkBuds Open, as well as a companion speaker, the LinkBuds Speaker. These devices are designed to provide seamless audio handoff and advanced noise-cancelling technology.

LinkBuds Fit: Designed for an Active Lifestyle

The LinkBuds Fit is the successor to the LinkBuds S, designed for individuals who lead an active lifestyle. These earbuds feature new Air Fitting Supporters, which provide a soft and hollow design to reduce ear contact and pressure, while the point of attachment is hooked and hard to prevent accidental dislodging. Additionally, there are new soft fitting tips to reduce inner-ear pressure.

LinkBuds Open: Retaining the Open Ring Design

The LinkBuds Open retains the open ring design of the original 2022 LinkBuds, allowing you to hear what’s going on around you without sacrificing music and call quality from the 11mm speaker. This model also features adaptive volume control, which optimizes volume based on your surroundings.

LinkBuds Speaker: Seamless Audio Handoff

The LinkBuds Speaker is designed to handle quick audio handoff from LinkBuds S, Fit, and Open, as well as the WH-1000XM5 and WF-1000XM5. It features 25 hours of battery life at a comfortable volume, thanks to its single tweeter and woofer.

Availability and Pricing

The LinkBuds Fit and LinkBuds Open are available this month for £179, while the LinkBuds Speaker will be available in October for £140.
