Good news for Pixel Buds fans who use macOS or Windows – Google has expanded its Pixel Buds companion app to these platforms, allowing you to control and customize your earbuds from the comfort of your desktop. The app is now available as a progressive web app (PWA) on newer versions of macOS and Windows, making it easier to manage your Pixel Buds without needing a Chromebook or Android phone.

What Can You Do with the Pixel Buds Companion App?

With the Pixel Buds companion app, you can:

• Adjust active noise cancelation settings
• Update firmware to the latest version
• Control the equalizer
• Toggle touch input
• View earbud serial numbers and battery levels
• More!

And, just like other PWAs, you can add the app to your computer’s dock for quick access.

iPhone Users, You’re Not Forgotten!
