God of War Ragnarök PSN Mod Pulled: Exclusive PS5 Hackers Banned
God of War Ragnarök PC Mod Removes PSN Linking Requirement Removed
The popular PSN-bypass mod for God of War Ragnarök on PC, created by iArtorias, has been removed from Nexus Mods without explanation. The mod allowed players to bypass Sony’s controversial requirement for a PSN account link.
The Mod’s Rationale
The mod, which removed the PSN overlay, was created by PC players who were unhappy with Sony’s linking requirement. The mod did what it was intended to do, and it was widely used by players. However, its creator, iArtorias, has now decided to remove the mod, leaving players wondering why.
The Current Situation
If you click on the mod’s page, you’ll be greeted with a message saying "The mod you were looking for couldn’t be found." There’s no indication on whether the mod’s removal was due to Sony or not. Eurogamer has reached out to Sony for comment, but at the time of writing, there has been no response.
The Future of PSN-Bypass Mods
It’s unclear if iArtorias will create a similar mod for other games, such as Ghost of Tsushima, which was recently released on PC. The removal of the mod has left players wondering if they’ll ever be able to bypass Sony’s linking requirement again.
