Get Ready to Charge: Dodge Charger Daytona EV Orders Now Open for Limited Production

Electric Dodge Charger Daytona: Orders Now Open, Production to Begin Soon

A New Era for Mopar Muscle

Are you excited to get your hands on an electric Dodge Charger Daytona? If so, you’re in luck! Orders are now open, and according to Stellantis, full production will begin in the near future. That’s right, you’ll be able to hit the road in this modern muscle car sooner rather than later.

Production Delayed, But Not Forgotten

It’s been a long time coming, with initial expectations of production starting months ago. Dodge initially announced that R/T and Scat Pack production would kick off in mid-2024, but reports suggest that the launch was delayed by 90 days to address some issues. Despite the delay, early/pre-production Dodge Charger Daytona vehicles are currently being built at the Windsor Assembly Plant.

What to Expect

As a reminder, the Charger Daytona R/T packs 496 horsepower and 404 lb-ft of torque, while the Scat Pack is even more powerful, with 670 hp and 627 lb-ft of torque. You can expect 0-60 mph in as little as 3.3 seconds and a top speed of 134 mph. The Scat Pack also comes with optional dual-valve, semi-active suspension with the Track Package.

What’s Next?

While the electric Charger Daytona is certainly a unique offering, not everyone is convinced. The company’s muscle-loving fans are plenty skeptical, which is understandable. However, if you’re not sold on the idea of an electric car, a twin-turbo inline-six model is coming next year.

Get Your Order In

If you’re ready to take the plunge, orders are now open, and anyone who rings up their dealer before October 31 will receive a special First Call package. This includes a two-day driving experience at Radford Racing School, a welcome gift, and access to an exclusive VIP concierge service.
