What We’ve Been Playing – 13th September
September 13th
We’re back with another edition of What We’ve Been Playing, where we dive into the games that have been occupying our time recently. This week, we’ve been revisiting a classic with Dragon Age: Origins, experiencing pure joy with Astro Bot, and exploring the world of teenage life in Until Then.
Dragon Age: Origins, Xbox Series X (via EA Play)
I recently returned to Dragon Age: Origins, the game that started it all, to rekindle my love for the series. As I delved back into the world of Ferelden, I couldn’t help but relive the memories of my original playthrough. I’ve been making questionable decisions, slicing my way through hordes of Darkspawn, and trying to keep my party alive. The game still holds up well, with its deep lore and engaging combat.
BioWare’s mastery of storytelling is evident throughout the game, and the consequences of my actions still linger in my mind. I’ve been playing for hours on end, getting lost in the world and its rich history. Whether I’m romancing Alistair or taking on the dark forces, Dragon Age: Origins is a true classic that never gets old.

Astro Bot, PlayStation 5
Astro Bot is a game that has brought me pure joy. I’ve been experiencing the joy of discovery and exploration as I navigate the levels, using the PS5 controller to its full potential. The speakers and haptic feedback have created an immersive experience that draws me in and refuses to let me go.
I’ve been playing the levels again and again, eager to uncover every hidden secret and Easter egg. The game has also inspired me to revisit some of my old favorite PlayStation titles, sparking a renewed interest in my gaming library.

Until Then, PC
Until Then is a game that has captivated me with its relatable characters and poignant story. I played a demo earlier in the year, and I’m glad to have had the chance to dive back into the full game. The game’s focus on teenage life, relationships, and self-discovery has resonated with me, and I’ve found myself getting invested in the characters and their stories.
While the game has its flaws, I’ve enjoyed the ride so far, and I’m eager to see how the story concludes. Until Then has left me feeling nostalgic for my own high school days and has sparked a desire to revisit some of my favorite coming-of-age stories.
