Introducing Maker’s Mark’s Oldest Bourbon Release: A Legacy of Fine Whiskey

What Sets Maker’s Mark’s Cellar-Aged Bourbon Apart?

A Unique Approach to Aging Bourbon

Unlike traditional bourbon aging methods, Maker’s Mark takes a different approach. Instead of storing their barrels in the typical Kentucky rickhouses, they age their whiskey in a limestone cellar. This unique environment provides a more stable temperature, minimizing the impact of temperature fluctuations on the whiskey and the wood. This results in a smoother, more mellow flavor profile that is distinct from other bourbons.

The 2024 Edition: The Oldest Expression Yet

This year’s release is a combination of 15% 12-year-old and 85% 13-year-old bourbon, making it the oldest expression of Maker’s Mark ever. The blended whiskey comes in at a proof of 119.3. But that’s not all – buyers will also get a special experience with the purchase of this limited-edition bottle.
