Pixel 9 Pro Deals: Get Best Price on New Phone with Exclusive Discounts, Plus iPads at Unbeatable Rates

The latest additions to the Google Pixel family have finally arrived, with the vanilla Pixel 9 and the flagship Pixel 9 Pro XL launching in late August, and now the smaller Pro and the second-generation foldable Pixel 9 Pro Fold making their debut in early September.

The Pixel 9 Pro Fold is a premium device, and as such, it comes with a hefty price tag – the same as last year’s model. But, to be fair, few horizontal foldables are affordable (and none are available in the US), so this is to be expected. If you’re looking for alternatives, you could consider the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6 or the OnePlus Open, but the latter is already a year old, so you might want to wait for the sequel.

The Pixel 9 Pro is a smaller flagship with the same high-end camera hardware as the Pro XL. It’s larger than the Galaxy S24 and the iPhone 15 Pro, but with a 48MP 113mm periscope and 48MP ultra-wide lens, it outperforms both on paper. And, of course, there’s a 42MP ultra-wide selfie camera to boot.

The vanilla Pixel 9 is similar to the Pro, but with a few key differences. It has the same size, Tensor G4 chipset, and main and ultra-wide cameras (although without the tele lens and lower-res selfie), and it lacks the LTPO display. On the plus side, it’s $200 cheaper.

The large Pixel 9 Pro XL is essentially identical to the 9 Pro, except for its larger screen (6.8″ vs. 6.3″) and battery (5,060mAh vs. 4,700mAh).

In other news, Apple recently dropped the price of the 2022 iPad to $300 for the 64GB model, which might be a bit tight depending on how you use it. And, of course, the 256GB version is a bit pricier. If you’re looking for an older option, the 2021 iPad (with Lightning instead of USB-C) is now available for $200 for a 64GB slate.

If you prefer Android, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE is a good option, priced at $340. This gets you a 90Hz IPS LCD, IP68 dust and water resistance, and a microSD slot for easy storage expansion.

And finally, the Sonos Ace over-ear headphones have been unveiled, featuring Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) and a transparency mode. The unique feature here is called TV Audio Swap, which allows you to easily send TV audio wirelessly to the headphones (complete with spatial audio) if you have a Sonos Arc soundbar.
