Corsair iCUE LINK TITAN 360 RX RGB AIO Cooler Review: High-Performance Cooling with Advanced RGB Lighting

Corsair, a company that’s been around for nearly two decades, has made a name for itself in the PC components industry, primarily thanks to its impressive range of memory products. But, in a bold move, Corsair decided to diversify its product lineup, starting with a few select items and quickly becoming the powerhouse it is today.

One of the key areas where Corsair excelled is its all-in-one (AIO) liquid coolers. While their initial foray into liquid cooling back in 2003 didn’t exactly set the world on fire, they didn’t give up. They took some time to regroup and re-enter the market, this time focusing on user-friendly, maintenance-free designs. And, boy, did it pay off! Today, AIO coolers are one of Corsair’s flagship product lines, with a wide range of models to choose from.

In this review, we’re taking a closer look at the latest addition to Corsair’s AIO cooler lineup: the iCUE LINK TITAN 360 RX. This newcomer shares similarities with the iCUE LINK H150i RGB, but it boasts a few significant upgrades, including an enhanced pump. The TITAN 360 RX is all about delivering high-performance cooling, and, with its single-cable design, it’s super easy to install. What’s more, it seamlessly integrates into the iCUE ecosystem for a more streamlined user experience.

Packaging & Bundle
—————–

The iCUE LINK TITAN 360 RX arrived in a rather substantial cardboard package, giving us a good idea of the cooler’s size. The box is emblazoned with Corsair’s signature black and yellow color scheme, featuring a vivid image of the cooler. Upon opening, we found the cooler and its components snugly nestled within custom-designed cardboard inserts. It’s clear that Corsair took great care in packaging the product to ensure it arrived in pristine condition.

Inside the box, we found the usual array of mounting hardware, separated into paper pouches for AMD and Intel processors. There’s also the iCUE Link Hub, which is crucial for getting the cooler up and running. One minor quibble is that the iCUE Link Hub requires a 6-pin PCI Express connector for power, which might be a challenge for users with limited power headroom. Still, Corsair likely made this design choice to save users from having to deal with pesky Molex cables.

———————————————————

At first glance, the iCUE LINK TITAN 360 RX might look similar to other 360mm AIO coolers out there. However, it’s the little details that set it apart. Notice the complete absence of loose cables, which gives the cooler a remarkably tidy appearance. The cooler features the standard AIO layout: a single radiator, two hoses, and a block with a copper CPU contact plate and a mini liquid pump.

One thing that really catches the eye is the unique fans Corsair included. The RX120 RGB fans feature magnetic levitation motors, which are rare but provide a high level of reliability and quiet operation. They also have a broad operational range of 300-2100 RPM and support ARGB and speed control. The fans’ magnetic levitation motors also result in a slightly higher initial cost, but they provide better performance and are worth it.

The block assembly of the iCUE LINK TITAN 360 RX RGB is surprisingly sophisticated. The opaque top half houses multiple LEDs, offering immersive lighting effects. The top plate is detachable and can be rotated to match the orientation of the cooler in any system, making it easy to customize the look.

One of the most interesting aspects of the iCUE LINK TITAN 360 RX is its XTM70 thermal paste. Pre-applied paste might limit users to a single installation, but it does enhance the cooler’s overall efficiency. If users need to remove the cooler for any reason, they’ll need to purchase additional thermal paste.

Once everything is connected and powered on, the iCUE LINK TITAN 360 RX transforms into a dazzling light show. The iCUE software offers a range of programming options, from simple aesthetic effects to practical, function-based lighting. Users can customize lighting effects, temperature-dependent colors, and even integrate the cooler with other compatible Corsair devices.

In conclusion, the iCUE LINK TITAN 360 RX is a fantastic AIO liquid cooler that showcases Corsair’s commitment to innovation and quality. Its single-cable design and seamless integration into the iCUE ecosystem make it a standout in the lineup. While there are some minor quibbles with the packaging and power connector, the iCUE LINK TITAN 360 RX is an exceptional product that’s sure to impress.
